What is School Choice?

School choice is the ability for families to choose the educational setting public, private, charter, online, or homeschool—that best meets their child’s individual needs, values, and goals.

In Iowa, school choice gives families the freedom to use Education Savings Accounts through the Students First Act to select the educational option that best fits their child’s needs.
